Manufacturing tolerances
Filto Profiles produces the brass profiles according to the European Standard EN 12167 “Copper and copper alloys. Profiles and bars for general purposes” however we apply to the brass profiles, Angles, T-profiles and Channels more restrictive tolerances than the norm to meet our customers needs.
Width & Thickness
For the brass profiles, angles, T-profiles and channels the cross-sectional dimensions shall conform to the tolerances specified in the drawing supplied by the purchaser and agreed with Filto Profiles at the time of the enquiry and/or order.
Our internal tolerances for Extruded profiles, angles, T-profiles and channels otherwise specified are calculated applying the following table.

Drawn tolerances will be agreed between Filto Profiles and the purchaser.
For Flat Bars Filto Profiles uses as standard EN 12167 Class B tolerances, other tolerances can be applied upon previous request.

Length
Length of the profiles are specified by the customer and applied Filto Profiles standard length tolerance of -0 +7mm
Flatness
Flatness shall be agreed between the purchaser and Filto Profiles on the order/drawing.
Straightness
Straightness shall be agreed between the purchaser and Filto Profiles on the order/drawing
Internal maximum deviation from straightness is according to class C tolerances, 2mm x L (m)

Radii
Filto Profiles applies 0,25mm corner radii as standard for all sharp corners.
Angularity
Filto Profiles controls angle deviation according to EN 12167 +/- 0.25 x (h)
Quantity
Filto Profiles applies the following tolerances on quantity:
<300 kg -0/+25 %, >300 kg -0/+10 %.
